Our hotel-restaurant is situated only a few minutes walking distance from Castle Nanstein. For beautiful extended hikes with varying degrees of exercise, for example: St. James pilgrimage way, to the Bismark tower, to the pagan rocks, in the Landstuhl bog or in the romantic Fleischackerloch, our hotel is an ideal starting point.
Whoever wishes to reconnoiter the area by bicycle has many interesting routes for beginners as well as sport bikers. The popular mountain park Pfälzerwald is near our location (Queidersbach).
Also worth seeing are the American redwood trees, which were planted in 1861 as botanical peculiarities and today, these magnificent trees are over 40 meters, making them among the tallest trees in Rheinland Pfalz.
After a restfull night in our hotel and a good beginning the next day with an fulfilling breakfast buffet, our hotel is an ideal starting point for a stroll through Landstuhl, a swim in the natural outdoor swimmingpool, etc.
Enjoy the cultural highlights such as the castle thespian performances, the castle jazz festival, or the castle medieval festival on Burg Nanstein that occurs every five years.
